job summary

the head of technology centre is acｃｏｕｎｔable for the development of r&d and technology. while the metrics, details and performance criteria are to be determined, this role will be heavily weighted toward the development and ｄｅｌivery of new products from either new or existing product platforms and portfolios.

strategic leadership

with strategic marketing, product marketing, sales and other functional leads, develop the overall technology and innovation strategies.work cross functionally with wider business teams to ensure all company business objectives are met/exceededresponsible for developing and implementing the r&d and technology budget and funding by product line and/or market segment.develop the technical capability for level 0~4 product, process and platform development for all product linescoordinates with the global technology r&d teamresponsible for developing and implementing a robust regulatory strategybuild an analytical data-driven culture that allows data to drive the organisational performancework with strategic marketing, product marketing, technical operations and manufacturing operations to develop, implement and evolve an effective collaboration moｄｅｌ for the marketing, manufacturing, technology and quality groups to ensure expedient knowledge transfer among the groups and ensure optimum product quality, enhanced product development processes and robust technical solutions to customer issues.

functional leadership

design and implement a successful metrics programme or product development performance scorecard in three key areas:responsible for project management and coordination of level 0~4 projects that covers both technology r&d and technical operationresponsible for developing and leading the r&d and technology teams and implementing a knowledge management platformresponsible for laboratory, process and analytical equipment specification and management.define and implement, in collaboration with the technical operations teams, best practices in global product and project management.

required:

bachelor’s degree in chemistry, material or engineering, ｍａｓｔｅｒ’s degree or above is preferred.technology r&d field with at least 5 years management experience, working experience at multi-national company is preferred.more than 8 years strong practiced experience in silicone material r&d, silicone material modifier is required.understanding of extrusion technology, experience in silicone process (extrusion, compression moulding, lsr) is highly preferred.fluent spoken and written english, good interpersonal skills
